You don't wanna run the framerate uncapped 'cause it'll rev your GPU up all the way, but you don't wanna use the in-game frame limiter either, since that seriously fucks up input (camera rotation and zoom increments, and it even messes up the Toolset's Test Module). It's still got a couple of bugs and the tint schemas aren't consistent with the original art, I like the old stuff better.īut I'd also add some configuration tips: The HD Art Pack is also available from Beamdog's own website, but your mileage may vary. ![]() And you can replace the main menu background yourself, put a gui_pre_bknd3.tga image of your full screen resolution in Documents/Neverwinter Nights/Override. For the UI, I wouldn't actually bother with any mods, looks fine out of the box. Actually, I'd have loved to make a general Override Hak that would "just work" for most modules, but that doesn't appear feasible since everyone seems to have modified the base scripts instead of extending them.Īnyway, going back to that list you posted: Separately, I've been interested in Balkoth's Minion Control and moving SoU and the OC to a 2-henchman system, but that'll take some work and I don't have an immediate plan. I've also been meaning to try out this NUI Spell Widget mod, basically a backport of NWN2's Quickcast, but it's apparently still crash-prone and I haven't gotten around to it. I like to have Customize Character on to change armour looks in-game, and I recommend installing the Mischa Waymeet mod for SoU to have a tank henchman available. Actually, I barely use any modifications on NWN, I'm more interested in modules. ![]() None, I'm using the GOG version and get my stuff off the Vault.
